Turn every kid into a confident math whiz — no calculator needed
Master Math Foundations is a complete, CCSS-aligned grades 1–6 math program that meets your child exactly where they are, fills every skill gap with hands-on games and timed drills, and builds the kind of deep number sense that lasts a lifetime.

Every child who walks in thinking they're "bad at math" walks out proving themselves wrong — and that moment never gets old.

A note from your teacher
Shawn R Gorden
Hey there — I'm so glad you found this place.
If you're reading this, there's a good chance math has felt a little stressful in your house lately. Maybe your child comes home with homework that makes them groan. Maybe they've started saying "I'm just not a math person" — and that phrase breaks your heart a little, because you know it isn't true. Or maybe you're homeschooling and you want to make sure you're covering everything, in the right order, without missing the foundations that make everything else click. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know: you are in exactly the right place.
I built Master Math Foundations because I kept seeing the same pattern over and over. Bright, capable kids who wanted to succeed but had one or two wobbly bricks in their foundation — a shaky grip on place value, fuzzy fraction sense, or multiplication facts that never quite stuck. And because those gaps never got fixed, every new concept felt harder than it should. The goal of this program is simple: go back, find those gaps, fill them completely, and then build upward with total confidence.
Here's what I know for certain: every child can be good at math. Not just okay — genuinely, joyfully good at it. But it takes the right approach. That means meeting students exactly where they are (no shame, no skipping ahead). It means learning through doing — games, drills, word problems, challenges — not just watching and nodding along. And it means celebrating every small win, because small wins stack up into something remarkable. From Grade 1 number sense and counting, all the way to Grade 6 ratios, integers, and data distributions, every single CCSS benchmark is covered — and covered in a way that's actually fun.
I also made a deliberate choice to put calculator-free, by-hand math at the heart of this program. Long division, decimal operations, fraction multiplication — students learn to do these with their own minds and pencils. Not because technology is bad, but because when you own a skill in your hands and your head, you own it forever. That number sense and mental math fluency becomes a superpower that follows kids into middle school, high school, and life.
Whether you're a parent supporting your child at home, a homeschool educator building a full math year, or a student ready to take on a challenge — I designed every lesson, every drill, every game with you in mind. Come on in. Let's make math the best part of your day.
I can't wait to cheer you on. 🎉
